After spending more than 30 years leading marketing launches, building teams, and turning around small businesses, I learned the hard way that pushing through exhaustion isn’t sustainable.

Like many women, I was carrying a lot — caregiving responsibilities for aging parents, running a business, caring for my rescues and ranch animals, running the household — trying to do it all. That constant pressure led to a stress-related heart attack. With no pre-existing conditions, it was a huge wake-up call. I realized I had been helping business owners build marketing systems to get more free time in their lives; while ignoring the toll my workload was taking on my own health and energy.

That experience changed how I work. I now focus on marketing with heart and sustainability, strategies that help you grow without burning yourself out.
